Understanding the 4Cs of a Diamond

Cut of a Diamond

The cut of a diamond describes how well the facets are cut. At our shop, this is one of the most important parameter that we keep track of when sourcing our diamonds. We ensure that our cuts are done perfectly to transmit light and sparkle brightly. Given that our diamonds are GIA Certified, we examine the proportions of the diamond's facets, angles, and dimensions, which includes aspects like table size, crown height, pavilion depth, and the angles at which the facets are cut.

Diamond Clarity

The clarity of a diamond refers to the absence of internal and external flaws. At our shop, we do our best to source diamonds that contain a range of blemishes and inclusions depending on the client’s budget.

Diamond Color

The color of a diamond refers to the lack of color. A structurally perfect diamond has no hue and is as clear as a water. We carry diamonds of all colors depending on our client’s desire; however, we generally carry diamonds in the D-J scale.

Diamond Carat

The color of a diamond determines the size in the measurement of weight. A metric "carat" is defined as 200 milligrams. Our store will be able to get the size you need.
